Full auto rifles are legal to own in the US if you submit to a special FBI background check and pay a tax stamp. The vast majority of rifles in the US refered to as AK-47s are semi-auto only, functionally no different than a hunting rifle. The AK-47 is a “select fire” rifle, meaning it is capable of firing in both semi-auto and full-auto modes.

The suspects stepped out of the vehicle and spoke with the victim. As they pulled up, the suspects were waiting in a vehicle. The victim told the suspects that he was driving to his girlfriend’s house. On 01-24-2021 at 2005 hours, two suspects known to a male victim contacted him because suspect 1 owed the victim $7.00. No other details except that no arrests are reported so far we’ll follow up further tomorrow. It followed a report of an armed street robbery near 12th and Myrtle, one victim and two robbers.
